Long time friends and collaborators Aly Miller and Jessica Egan worked together to create the concept for this piece. Taking inspiration from springtime blooms and classic blue and white pottery they conceived of a 10” plate with floral edges and custom tulip illustrations which could be the showpiece of a dining table or act as every day decor.
Made of stoneware clay, this 10” plate was wheel thrown and altered by Jessica, then glazed in a bright white glaze, formulated in the Little Fire Ceramics studio. The illustrations on the plate were originally hand drawn by Aly then custom printed as glaze transfers which were permanently adhered onto the plate through a special firing process in the kiln.
This piece is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Perfect as part of your regular meals or as a specialty item in your home. Only one of these plates has ever been made, enter for a chance to have this item as part of your personal collection.
Raffle entries are $7 per entry or a discounted pack of three for $20, no entry limit. One raffle winner will be randomly drawn on Monday, May 18th and the winner will be notified via email. Winner must respond in 48 or another winner will be drawn. Shipping and handling fees are included with entry win. Winner must be in the United States.
