Long time friends and collaborators Aly Miller and Jessica Egan worked together to create the concept for this very special collaboration for Renegade Craft Fair - Andersonville. Taking inspiration from springtime blooms and the long history of classic blue and white pottery from around the world they crafted 24 handmade floral dishes with custom illustrations by Aly Miller Designs.
Made of stoneware clay, these dishes were wheel thrown and altered by Jessica, then glazed in a bright white glaze, formulated in the Little Fire Ceramics studio. The illustrations on the plate were originally hand drawn by Aly then custom printed as glaze transfers which were permanently adhered onto the plate through a special firing process in the kiln.
This piece is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Perfect as part of your regular meals or as a specialty item in your home. Only 24 of these these pieces were made as a limited edition for this special event and once they run out they will not be repeated.
