Frequently Asked

HANDMADE

Every piece by Little Fire Ceramics is made by hand. Due to this fact, no two items are identical. The images listed on this website are representative of the item being purchased, not the exact item you will receive.

CARE

All Little Fire Ceramics items are microwave and dishwasher safe, however, handwashing is recommended for the longevity of items. Little Fire Ceramics items are not oven safe unless specifically stated in the description.

SHIPPING + HANDLING FEES

Shipping and handling charges are automated through my website and the algorithm is set up as if each item is being shipped individually. It is an issue I’m actively working to remedy, but in the meantime should you be overcharged for shipping you will be refunded the difference when items are packed. Ready to ship items will be packed and shipped within two to three business days of ordering. Made to order items have an estimated three week turn around time from order to ship date. All orders are sent via USPS, no signature will be required for delivery.

PICK UP

Local order pickup available at the Little Fire Ceramics studio in Milwaukee, WI by appointment only. Choose the pick up option at checkout to void the shipping and handling fee. To schedule a pick up, please contact me directly.

READY TO SHIP

Items labeled “Ready to Ship” are currently in stock and will be packed and shipped within two to three business days of purchase. Items note labeled ready to ship are made to order (see below). You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

MADE TO ORDER

Production on all made to order items (any items not listed as “Ready to Ship”) will begin when your order is placed. Average turn around time is approximately three weeks from order date to ship date, but some orders may be completed more quickly. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International orders are accepted on a case by case basis. For orders anywhere outside the U.S. please contact me directly.

THEFT

Little Fire Ceramics cannot be held responsible for package theft once an item has been marked as “delivered”. If you know your mail is subject to theft, please ship to a secure address.

RETURNS + DAMAGES

Returns are not accepted for custom items. Customer is required to pay for return shipping for items being returned for reasons other than defects or damages. Should items get damaged in transit, please send detailed photos of the damages, including item and packaging, to littlefireceramics@gmail.com within 72 hours of receiving the item.

SALE ITEMS

By purchasing an item on sale you acknowledge that it is final sale which is why it is discounted. You will still receive a credit or be refunded should your item be damaged in shipping.

“TAKE YOUR TIME” OPTION
FOR HOLIDAY ORDERS

Choose this option at checkout if you are purchasing made to order items which are okay to arrive after 12/24 or do not need to be delivered within the usual estimated three week turn around. Orders in which the artist may "take their time" have an estimated turnaround of approximately three to five weeks from order date.
